Look for the first episode in March, 2020. Until then, check out this short trailer to find out what you can expect from this podcast. My hope is that the podcast will provide support, encouragement, food for thought, and ongoing education for herbalists and nutritionists. If you have feedback, topic requests, or questions, please submit them: https://intheclinic.com

Thanks for listening.

Camille's Helpful Links for Practitioners

Speaker 1 (00:03)
Hi, everyone. Camille Freeman here. Welcome to my new podcast called In the Clinic with Camille. In this trailer episode, I'm going to tell you a little bit about what to expect from this podcast, so you can decide if you want to subscribe or not, and hopefully you will. I am a clinical herbalist and licensed nutritionist, and I've been in practice part-time since 2003. Along the way, I have picked up quite a few things about working with clients and also about building in growing a practice. I specialize in fertility and reproductive health, so a lot of what I have to offer is in that realm of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, that thing. But I'm also going to offer episodes relating to building your practice or things that might more generically relate to practitioners, such as intake forms and questions that are helpful to ask clients and dosing strategies and these types of things. My vision is to have a weekly podcast that is very short and concise. We're talking about 10 to 15 minutes. I'm hoping that the topics will be practical, will be things that you can implement right away or you can write down to use when they come up so that it'll feel really useful and a great use of your time.

Just to give you an idea, some of the first episodes that I have planned include a discussion of what is an herbal tonic, some of the different definitions out there and what that means, physiologically speaking. We're going to be talking about whether I think phenol is safe to use during pregnancy. We're going to be talking about how much protein is needed in pregnancy and what kinds of things I recommend for people to do to eat that much, and so forth. And so forth. The first episode should be here in March of 2020. If this sounds good to you, please hit subscribe and join me then. If you have a question that you'd like me to answer or if you have a topic request, please go to my website, and let me know. I would love to answer your question, and I hope you'll come along for the ride. All right, take care, everybody. Talk to you.
